I strongly believe everyone deserves an education. After all, we all have the human right to an education, regardless of the issues we are facing. I've had to overcome obstacles that have shape d who I am today. My culture has influenced me so greatly inas to how I wish to go about my education and what it means to me.

To begin with, overcoming my largest obstacles
, or bumps in the road was only possible with courage and perseverance. I battled with depression, which at times became more of a hindrance. However, with the assistance of my school's office of disabilities that provided me with accommodations., I was able to push through my classes and pass. My passion for nursing propels me through my academics. I am passionate about helping others in my community, and have been for years now.

In addition, my culture heavily shaped who I am today. We went through hardship and I knew I wanted better for my family before me. I wanted my family to have an education because this country was built
off ofby educated individuals with diverse backgrounds, just like me. I know I can make a difference in the world around me through nursing, one life at a time.

In conclusion, we all have the right to an education
; the way we use it can have a direct impact on the community we live in and those we love. Obtaining an education in Nursing will allow me to make a change in my most passionate way. I can work with the school to continue overcoming my obstacles. Those before me are my sole motivation.
