The plot is simple because it can relate to many young people. Basically, Troy Bolton is the jock of the school and Gabriella Montez is the brain of the school. Gabriella and Troy instantly hit it off and Gabriella convinces Troy to audition for the musical with her. At East High, everyone is in a specific clique, so when Troy ends up doing the musical, everyone else starts joining new things and messing up the status quo, which does not make Sharpay Evans happy considering the fact she runs the school. The plot is interesting but, is similar to other movies. The theme is that you don't always have to stick to the status quo. If you like many different things, you shouldn't be insecure about liking them but instead, embrace those things and show who you really are, not who you're expected to be.
After watching 'High School Musical' I soon came to believe that it is one of the best movies ever. I would ten out of ten recommend this movie for you to watch. High School Musical will not let you down. Not now. Not ever.
