Being born in a family that has yet to be modernized in the Canadian culture, I have the responsibility to get involved with the Tamil heritage, to communicate more effectively with my household. With limited options available, I am obliged to attend a language class, where I would speak, read, and communicate in Tamil. My choice to attend the class throughout my school years has proven worthy, as I am capable to interact with family and friends in a improved manner, while also achieving a grade of 100. The determination to go to the classes has put me in a position where I can connect with family overseas, helpshelp other people and overcome obstacles, which once seemed improbable. As a result of this, I have enhanced my understanding of my origins and what the Tamil culture consists of.
